Assistant Research Scientist -non-tenure track faculty ( Assistant Technical Director)
Location: Athens, GA
Start Date: July 1, 2025
- Develop novel analytical methods for glycoprotein and polysaccharide characterization using MS, HPLC, HPAEC, and NMR.
- Supervise and mentor lab staff, postdocs, and research professionals.
- Collaborate with external investigators and contribute to high-impact publications.
- Lead training courses and workshops in glycoscience.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Glycobiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Strong background in structural analysis of glycoconjugates and glycobiology
- Experience in project leadership and scientific communication.
