As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with other products from other companies within the stores you service.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

Your starting hourly pay rate will be

$13.50 to $15.50

depending on your skills and experience.

We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours for this position are between

11‑15 hours per week .

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is

required .

Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The retail merchandiser position consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You’ll use technology for day‑to‑day work, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.

Holiday support:

Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours. On chosen holidays, you may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.

Department resets:

You may be part of a team handling installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. You will receive notification up to two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration:

As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other merchandisers as needed in their territories.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents.

Access to Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.

Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
