Summary
The Revenue Growth & Client Strategy Manager is responsible for overseeing revenue generation, monitoring financial performance, preparing annual budgets, and building customer relationships. This role works cross‑functionally with Finance and Operations teams to monitor revenue and optimize profitability. Duties also include managing customer rate schedules, negotiating and executing contracts, analyzing potential new business opportunities, and participating in actions to improve Glovis profitability.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain numerous client rate schedules and pricing structures, managing annual contractual rate adjustments and calculating special rate modifications; ensure rates are accurate and submitted to clients on‑time to support normal billing and company cash flow.
Prepare the Annual Budget document and MOU agreement for key customers; requires in‑depth understanding of revenue‑generating activities, awareness of current and trending financial performance, and working knowledge of operations. Includes extensive data gathering, detailed organization of historical records, creation of templates and documents, and project management skills to meet required deadlines.
Prepare proposal documents and presentations as needed, including internal approval documents (red folders) and present these ideas internally and externally.
Build relationships and maintain strong communication with key customer contacts.
Provide insight on skills and capabilities required and contribute to short, medium, and long‑term business plans, adding value through strategic resourcing decisions and translating business understanding into action plans and focus areas for operation.
Provide leadership on special projects; oversee the project from a revenue and profit perspective, collaborate with internal departments, review and confirm data supplied by other teams, assess and identify risks, calculate rate proposals (if needed), and ensure the team meets deadlines set by executive management.
Analyze client revenue structures and develop strategies to achieve optimal revenue growth and profitability improvement.
Monitor and adjust pricing templates and strategies to ensure optimal revenue generation and cost recovery.
Collaborate with and provide support to operational teams on special projects to identify and expand revenue opportunities.
Coordinate with the Client Accounts team to review monthly financial result data, analyze trends and profitability for all customers and sections of operations.
Track team KPI & MBO progress and prepare monthly tracking reports.
Oversee the building and management of Power BI reports created by the Client Accounts team, to be presented to executive management.
Mentor, guide, and support team members and workflow.
Compensation Range
$101,000 - $113,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
SAP experience preferred but not required
Ability to logically and systematically solve complex problems that involve competing priorities required
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree Required
7 - 10 Years of Direct Experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis Required; 8 - 13 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
Logistics and/or Automotive Industry Experience Preferred
4 - 7 years of Supervisory Experience Required
2 Years of Indirect Experience Required; 4 Years of Indirect Experience Preferred
