Administrator - FF Accounting

Responsibilities

Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to company deadlines and policies

Maintain compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards, particularly for freight forwarding and logistics operations
Track and review daily transactions across Freight Forwarding, Inland Trucking, Trading, and new business segments to ensure completeness and accuracy
Generate detailed month-end financial reports, including accrual aging, segmented summaries by business type, location, customer, and vendor
Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support decision-making and provide revenue, cost, and direct margin forecasts proactively or as requested
Ensure accurate consolidation of financial data with a strong focus on integrity, consistency, and reconciliation across all reporting entities
Maintain and validate key financial reference data to ensure consistency and reliability in all reports and analytics
Develop clear, well-structured financial presentations and visualizations using Excel and/or data visualization tools for internal and external stakeholders
Deliver timely and accurate ad-hoc reports and analyses to support management, and auditors
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, data quality, and overall financial insight

Prepare and manage KPI reports, ensuring alignment with key performance objectives

Oversee task progress to ensure team deliverables are completed on time
Perform accrual testing prior to or during month-end close to ensure the accuracy of financial postings
Create profitability reports for new business initiatives, analyzing performance up to the direct margin level
Contribute to key project management efforts and support essential reporting tasks
Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range: $68,000 - $80,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree Required
Master's Degree Preferred
5 - 8 years of experience relating to Accounting, Finance, or Logistics Required
6 - 9 years of experience relating to Accounting, Finance, or Logistics Preferred
CPA License Preferred
