Contract Specialist Location: San Ramon, CA 94583

Employment Type: Temporary (Full‑Time)

Work Model: Hybrid – Required on‑site 1‑4 times a month.

Estimated Duration: 8 months

Salary: $50.00–$60.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Validate invoices and handle communications with vendors and internal customers for Construction Services activities.

Use Salesforce/Conga contract lifecycle management to create and manage work order documents.

Review vendor invoice documents in SAP.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice issues promptly.

Communicate effectively and build relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendor representatives.

Develop and maintain documentation for policies and procedures, ensuring sustainable compliance controls.

Accurately reflect contract provisions in billing calculations and invoices.

Proactively monitor and manage key contract milestones.

Qualifications

Minimum four years of experience in contract or project management, business/office management, or finance.

Experience with accounting, business, contracts, purchasing, organizational or process/project management, preferably using Salesforce or other large systems.

Understanding of client contractor safety requirements.

Effective verbal, written, and multi‑channel communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency with Salesforce, Ariba, SAP (invoicing/billing functions).

Competence using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for timely, accurate executive‑level presentations.

Detail‑oriented approach, ensuring high quality, timely, accurate work products and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

Ariba, MS Office, Salesforce, SAP

Office management / accounts payable / finance experience (4 years)

Excel and Word skills; data analysis skills (4 years)

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
