Business Analyst (IT / SDLC) – Contract | Hybrid (3/2)
Our client is seeking a
Business Analyst
to support a high-profile
development initiative
within a fast-paced IT environment. This is a 6-month contract opportunity in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite / 2 remote). The environment operates within Agile delivery practices and is built on a
Microsoft technology stack (.NET, SQL Server) , with a strong focus on improving
requirements quality and SDLC execution .
This role addresses a critical gap in
requirements definition and translation between business and technical teams , directly impacting delivery efficiency and outcomes.

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Immediate Start)
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a
Business Analyst in IT environments
(not a hybrid PM/BA role)
Strong expertise in
requirements gathering, documentation, and validation
Demonstrated ability to
translate business needs into technical requirements
Experience supporting teams working with
.NET applications and SQL Server environments
Experience working within
Agile methodologies
Solid understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong stakeholder communication and alignment skills
Ability to
hit the ground running
with minimal ramp-up
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience working on
high-visibility or time-sensitive initiatives
Familiarity with
Microsoft-based ecosystems
Exposure to
AI tools or AI-assisted workflows
Experience formalizing or improving
requirements processes
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
Microsoft environment: .NET applications and SQL Server
Agile delivery model (25-day sprint cycles; no daily standups)
Daily Responsibilities
50% Hands‑on requirements gathering, documentation, and refinement
30% Stakeholder collaboration (business units, PMO, DevOps teams)
20% Process improvement and SDLC alignment
