
Trade Marketing Manager

Our client in the Beverage-Alcohol space is seeking a Trade & Commercial Marketing Manager to drive growth through the development and execution of impactful trade and marketing initiatives across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels.
This role sits at the intersection of brand and sales, translating strategy into in-market execution. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on—comfortable building processes from the ground up, partnering cross‑functionally, and bringing programs to life in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in office in New Rochelle, NY.
Responsibilities:
Lead development and execution of trade and commercial marketing strategies across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels
Build and manage all point-of-sale materials, sales decks, and trade collateral to support national and regional accounts
Partner closely with the National Sales team to drive execution across key accounts including Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Safeway
Plan and execute seasonal and evergreen campaigns, including activations, tastings, and trade programs
Serve as a key liaison between sales, distributors, and external vendors
Build trade marketing processes from the ground up in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and third‑party vendors
Oversee trade marketing budgets and track ROI across initiatives
Analyze program performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth
Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all channels, particularly within alcohol regulations
Support experiential marketing initiatives including events and festivals
Candidate Profile:
5–10+ years of experience in trade marketing, commercial marketing, or a related field
Experience within beverage alcohol strongly preferred; open to broader CPG backgrounds
Proven success working across retail and on‑premise channels
Experience supporting large national accounts (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger) highly preferred
Resourceful and comfortable operating in a lean, fast‑moving environment
Strong project management and vendor management capabilities
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Understanding of alcohol compliance and regulatory considerations is a plus
High energy and motivated to build within a growing organization
