Job Description:
The Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales activity, maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting contract renewals, and driving new business opportunities. This role will work closely with internal teams including operations, dispatch, customer service, and leadership to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide timely support and solutions
- Conduct outbound outreach to past, current, and prospective customers to generate business opportunities
- Prepare and send customer proposals, quotes, and service recommendations
- Manage customer accounts and maintain strong long-term client relationships
- Monitor contract expirations and proactively support renewal conversations
- Maintain accurate CRM records, customer interactions, and sales pipeline updates
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure service execution and issue resolution
- Support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts
- Research market opportunities and identify potential areas for growth
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for leadership review
- Assist with one rotating Saturday per month for operational support
- Support special projects and additional team initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or related sales roles
- Experience within industrial services, environmental services, logistics, or related industries strongly preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
