Mello is a premium custom merchandise and production company based in Austin, Texas. We work with fast-growing brands in food, beverage, lifestyle, hospitality, and retail to create high-quality, design-forward apparel, headwear, and branded goods that people actually want to wear and keep.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a high-performing Agency Sales Account Executive to grow our custom merchandise partnerships. This person must be a hunter - comfortable opening doors, creating new opportunities, and building long-term relationships with mid-size to enterprise clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prospect, pitch, and close new business across corporate, hospitality, CPG, agencies, events, and emerging brands.

- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events.

- Identify unique revenue opportunities including recurring merch programs, white-label initiatives, and partner accounts.

- Collaborate with internal production, design, and account management teams to scope projects and proposals.

- Maintain CRM pipeline and forecasting accuracy.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic merch recommendations and long-term planning.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 3–8+ years of sales experience, ideally in agency environment, design, apparel, branding, or apparel manufacturing.

- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong network in Austin’s business community (preferred).

- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup-like environment.


COMPENSATION:

- Base salary + competitive commission structure.
