
Sr. Construction Superintendent

What to Expect
As a Sr. Superintendent, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your Project team, Design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technicalexpertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process.
What You'll Do
Lead day-to-daysite operations across civil, structural, and MEP scopes. Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and vendors to maintain workflow continuity and productivity
Ensure all installations meet project specifications, codes, and semiconductor facility standards eg. Cleanroom protocols, vibration control). Evaluate plans, build project schedules, support submittal reviews, write RFIs and coordinate in-field shutdowns with project stakeholders
Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards. Ensure adherence of contractors' Quality Control standards and support internal Quality Assurance/Commissioning for turnover of MEP systems
Coordinates field execution with all contractors, establishes dimensional layout/control, verify installation material in the field matches the design documents and ensures contractor as-builts are accurately captured
Reviews project plans, P&ID's, single-line diagrams, and determine the feasibility of construction as well as potential value engineering opportunities
Manages multiple work fronts simultaneously while adhering to Tesla specifications, procedures, and policies. Maintains effective communication with Tesla personnel, including QC, QA, CX, and Facilities
Maintains a safe/clean work site, identifies and correct safety hazards/violations and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to quickly resolve field clashes
What You'll Bring
A minimum of 5+ years of semiconductor field experience
Held a supervisory role on commercial/industrial projects (e.g., semiconductor facilities, hospitals, data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities)
Strong proficiency with Dry/Wet Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Rigging and Building Automation/Controls/Life Safety Systems
Familiarity with BIM software (Autodesk/Revizto) and construction management tools
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals
OSHA 30 certification, Relevant mechanical trade licenses, and any trade certification is a plus
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and environmental regulations with ability to provide constructability feedback to designers
