Chioco Design is a design‑focused architectural and interiors studio that has worked on private residences, industrial adaptive reuse, restaurants, bars, retail stores, mixed‑use facilities, and public spaces.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through construction. The designer will collaborate closely with partners and team members on all phases of design and documentation, contributing both creatively and technically to projects of various scales and typologies.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and documentation of interior projects across multiple typologies (commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential).
Develop and present design concepts, material palettes, and FF&E selections.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors throughout all phases of a project.
Participate in construction administration and site observation.
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and design excellence.
Qualifications
Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Proven experience leading interior design projects from concept to completion.
Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools.
Deep understanding of materials, detailing, and furniture/lighting specification.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
NCIDQ certification and/or Texas registration preferred but not required.
