As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organizational and time-management skills while representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be
$13.00 - $15.00
depending on your skills and experience.
Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
Part‑time employees may receive voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
Eligibility for annual pay increases.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule throughout the work week.
Average weekly hours range between
7-10
hours per week.
Availability before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position includes three major components:
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the department. Communication with your supervisor and completing required merchandising activities are essential. Professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.
Holiday support:
During periods around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, additional days and extended hours may be required, including weekends.
Department resets:
Periodically assist with installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Requests are typically given two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
One Team Vision:
Participate in Hallmark’s field organization and support fellow team members as needed.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding job requiring significant energy and urgency. Work occurs on the sales floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartridges and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and occasional stair climbing or ladder use are required.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Proficiency with a digital hand‑held device to open, read, and interpret documents.
Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
