High-Performance In-Home Sales Role With Technical Execution

Up top $10K sign on bonus for candidates currently employed as garage door technician by a reputable company AND a minimum of 1 year of garage door sales & service required.
- 1+ years' experience: $7,500 sign on bonus
- 3+ years' experience: $10,000 sign on bonus
What This Role Really Is
This is a high-performance, in-home sales role with technical execution.
You will:
- Walk into homes where customers already need service (NOT a door-to-door sales job)
- Diagnose the problem
- Present options confidently
- Close the job on the spot
- Then complete the work yourself

This location operates with expanded service hours to support increased capacity and customer demand. Team members may be scheduled for shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with assignments based on performance and seniority. The facility is open seven days a week, requiring flexibility in scheduling, including weekends.

Close
- Build trust fast with homeowners
- Clearly explain problems, options, and pricing
- Confidently ask for the sale and handle objections
- Maximize every opportunity without being pushy
Execute
- Replace springs, motors, rollers, and full systems
- Install openers, keypads, and wiring
- Ensure every job is done right the first time
Deliver
- Create a 5-star customer experience on every job
- Generate repeat and referral business
- Represent A1 as a professional subject matter expert, not just a technician

You are:
- Currently working as a garage door technician
- Already closing jobs and comfortable selling in the home
- Able to clearly explain your sales process and close rate

What We'll Ask You
Be ready to talk about:
- Your close rate
- Your average ticket size
- Your sales process in the home
- Specific examples of how you handled objections
- Your customer reviews / 5-star feedback
What We Require:
- Valid driver's license (3+ years driving record)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures.
- Willingness to undergo criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
- Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software.
- Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments.
- Minimum of 1 year in garage door sales and service
- Currently employed by a reputable Garage Door company
