Customer Service Representative

AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Customer Services Representative to fill an opening with a company that makes materials enhancing the quality of life and is located in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with some customer service/sales experience.
Benefits of the Customer Services Representative:
Monday-Friday.
Pay: $21 per hour.
Responsibilities of the Customer Services Representative:
Set up and maintain customer files.
Answer incoming calls, process orders, and prepare invoices.
Maintain superior product knowledge and competitor information.
Provide customer service to current and prospective customers by answering questions and solving problems.
Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures.
Cold call prospective business customers, send promotional materials, and follow up.
Process customer warranties and returns.
Monitor promotional pack inventory and assemble more as needed.
Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives.
Cross-trained in production planning to assist in physical inventory count as needed.
Cross-trained in shipping to assist with order fulfillment.
Adhere to safety culture.
Complete special projects as directed by manager.
Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:
SAP.
Proficient skills with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as general computer skills.
