
Recruitment Specialist

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates who align with the organization’s mission. This role focuses on sourcing talent for human services positions such as case managers, clinicians, program staff, and administrative support, ensuring timely hiring to meet program needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting (intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer process, onboarding support)
Partner with program directors and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
Post jobs on job boards, nonprofit networks, and social platforms
Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews
Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring teams
Ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with the organization’s mission and values
Track recruiting activity in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Maintain compliance with EEO and employment laws
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring initiatives
Build relationships with community partners, schools, and workforce programs
Attend job fairs and community hiring events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5+ years of recruiting experience (nonprofit, healthcare, or human services preferred)
Experience with high-volume recruiting strongly preferred
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paycom, iCIMS, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for Social workers, Behavioral health clinicians, Direct care / residential staff, Bilingual (Spanish or other languages depending on community served)
Experience with community-based recruiting
Compensation
$35-40/hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
