Los Angeles - Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-to-Senior-Level)

Overview
The Labor & Employment practice group is seeking an experienced mid‑to‑senior‑level associate to join our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of employment litigation experience, including single‑plaintiff matters and wage and hour class actions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in a path to partnership and who is eager to work with a collaborative team, contribute to the growth of the practice, and work with engaging clients on sophisticated matters all within a friendly office community.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing and analytical skills, experience managing multiple cases, and the ability to serve as a lead on litigation matters. This includes supervising junior associates and staff and acting as a client contact. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution. Deposition and/or courtroom experience is a plus. Candidates must also have strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be licensed to practice in California.

Compensation
$325,000 - $435,000. This represents the presently‑anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
