Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners
is seeking a driven and experienced
Healthcare Corporate Recruiter
to support hiring efforts in the Nacogdoches, TX area. This role operates in a fast-paced healthcare environment and requires a proactive, relationship-focused recruiter who can partner with leadership, manage full-cycle recruiting, and build strong candidate pipelines.
This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact, with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with executive leadership, administrators, and hiring managers to define hiring needs and recruiting strategies
Develop a strong understanding of organizational culture, services, and workforce needs
Source and engage candidates using advanced search techniques, networking, and relationship building
Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for assigned roles
Screen and interview candidates, evaluating qualifications against job requirements
Present qualified candidates to hiring teams and coordinate interview scheduling
Conduct thorough candidate vetting to ensure alignment with role and organizational needs
Negotiate compensation within established budget parameters
Support onboarding and assist new hires through the transition process
Qualifications
2–4 years of recruiting experience required
Healthcare or clinical recruiting experience preferred
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as Oracle or Taleo
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Experience utilizing sourcing tools, job boards, and professional networks
Additional Requirements
Ability to work onsite as needed and attend events or leadership meetings
Successful completion of background check
Drug screening may be required
