Under the director supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, and in collaboration with applicable district departments, the Director will coordinate, and facilitate the development, alignment, implementation; and evaluation of the District's comprehensive academic planning efforts in conjunction with the District's Strategic Plan and Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) development as well as provide relevant data to District and school staff from federal, state and local data sources from which state and local indicators are derived and advise on the use of formative and summative data within federal, state, and local continuous improvement and accountability systems for the purpose of improving student outcomes.
