Coordinator Career and Technical Education (CTE), TOA 1.0 FTE (12 month position

Job Summary
The CTE Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the District's Career and Technical Education programs. The position assists in ensuring program compliance with federal, state, and district standards, facilitates curriculum alignment, and coordinates CTE initiatives across the district and with post-secondary institutions.

Essential Functions

Works with the Director to support the implementation of CTE curriculum and programs.

Meets regularly with CTE program leads and support specialists to support curriculum, instruction, and assessments.

Assists with the coordination and monitoring of CTE programs across district sites.

Supports compliance with state, federal, and EVIT requirements.

Assists with management and documentation of grants, including Carl Perkins.

Coordinates communication between the district, sites, and external partners.

Supports the development of new CTE programs aligned with workforce needs.

Collects and analyzes data to support program evaluation and improvement.

Assists with planning and coordination of professional development for CTE staff.

Participates in meetings, trainings, and workshops related to CTE programs.

Prepares reports and documentation as required.

Ensures all work is completed in accordance with district policy and applicable laws.

Supervises and evaluates assigned staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Training and Experience

Experience in Career and Technical Education preferred.

Leadership experience preferred.

Licensing/Certification Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, CTE preferred.

Valid Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Positions in this class typically require climbing, crawling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, reaching, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Sedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The job is largely sedentary, with walking and standing only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria met.
