We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization in the Columbus area seeking a
Senior Staff Accountant
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented and dependable accounting professional who enjoys owning the core general ledger function and contributing to a stable, team oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and getting the fundamentals right, while supporting ongoing business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple accounts
Assist with year-end close and audit support
Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to support financial reporting needs
Handle ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3–7+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong general ledger and month-end close experience required
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
CPA or CPA-track is a plus
