Senior Network Engineer - Connectivity
Stefanini Group is seeking an experienced Connectivity Engineer for a globally recognized company. The role will be based on‑site at the client’s factory, serving as the primary point of contact for all connectivity‑related issues and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless equipment connections and network structural cabling works. While you will not configure devices directly, your deep understanding of network operations will be crucial for troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
Job Responsibilities
Participate and lead in managing the IT network, telecommunication, and local on‑prem server infrastructure duties.
Allocate approximately 70% of time to network, 20% to server responsibilities, and 10% to other IT infrastructure duties.
Collaborate in creating logical network designs and the physical layouts of network and server infrastructure.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of security patching schedules and policies for network and hosting equipment.
Proactive monitoring for network status and capacity monitoring.
Participate in IT infrastructure operations and escalations to ensure network, telecommunication, and hosting availability and performance.
Work with network, telecommunication, on‑prem server infrastructure, and data cabling providers on various operational issues.
Lead or participate in IT infrastructure global and local projects coordination and execution in alignment with local and global guidelines.
Coordinate operations with local IT service vendors and partners.
Requirements (Competence, Experience and Education)
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field with a network/hosting engineering focus; not a blocker if a candidate is studying a similar field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure network/telco domain or equivalent.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (network and hosting) hardware.
Experience in IT technologies: networks, telecommunications, servers, virtualization (Hyper‑V).
Experience/understanding of CISCO network (LAN, WLAN, WAN) infrastructure.
Experience with implementation or management of network segregation (VLANs).
Experience with IT service management (ITIL methodology); SNOW experience is a plus.
Understanding of network security and security policy implementation (CISCO, Palo Alto).
Ability to create network and hosting diagrams and documentation, HLD, LLD, and technical standards.
Strong problem‑solving and visualization skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with global, internal, and external partners.
Self‑starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Good analytical and problem‑solving skills; knowledge in budget and project management.
CCNA certification preferred; other networking, server, or firewall certificates are a plus.
