Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract role offers exceptional flexibility—choose to work 2 or 3 days per week on a schedule that fits your life. The assignment runs for the fall semester with the potential to continue into the second semester, providing both variety and stability for professionals interested in short-term commitments with an option for extension. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to assess student needs and deliver customized physical therapy services. Desired Skills & Experience:Illinois Physical Therapist license (active and in good standing)Experience or interest in pediatric or school-based therapyStrong communication and organization skillsPositive attitude and ability to adapt to shifting caseloads or schedulesComfortable with short-term contracts Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat elementary school students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Develop and implement therapy interventions addressing students’ mobility and functional independenceWork collaboratively with other school professionals, families, and caregiversDocument treatment plans and maintain accurate recordsProvide guidance and recommendations regarding adaptive equipment when needed Perks include a flexible schedule—choose between 2 or 3 days per week to align with your commitments—and the convenience of weekly pay each Friday.
