Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications: Active Texas Physical Therapy (PT) License required Must have prior school-based PT experience Ability to effectively manage and support a diverse K-12 caseload Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Committed to evidence-based practice and continued professional growth
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop custom physical therapy plans to address their unique educational needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements Educate staff and families on strategies to improve student mobility, engagement, and participation in school activities
As part of this assignment, you will receive $50 per hour, consistently paid weekly to support financial stability.
