What experience and qualifications are valued:Active TX Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to applySchool-based SLP experience advantageous, particularly at the elementary levelWillingness to supervise if CCCs are heldAbility to manage a caseload of approximately 60 studentsFlexibility to serve at one or occasionally two nearby elementary schoolsStrong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Key responsibilities include:Delivering speech and language services onsite to elementary students per individualized education plans (IEPs)Conducting assessments, developing targeted intervention plans, and monitoring student progressCollaborating with educators, special education teams, and families to maximize student supportProviding supervision when necessary for Clinical Fellows, ensuring the highest quality of mentorship and careMaintaining accurate records and documentation as mandated by school and state requirementsParticipating in team meetings and contributing to a positive, student-centered school climate This contract offers a meaningful chance to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during the academic year.
