Dispatch Manager Role
The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for monitoring all delivery teams throughout the day.
This role will include monitoring all compliance related driver functions throughout the day.
Dispatch Manager will be responsible for customer feedback follow up call backs. All results communicated to OM and GM.
They will report to the Operations manager as well as the General Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations.
Ensure compliance with set policies and processes.
Ensure all delivery teams are in compliance with all compliance related functions.
Review all delivery PODs in real time.
Prepare regular reports for upper management.
Provide solutions to delivery issues in the moment and work to assist customers during delivery related issues.
Job Requirements
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
Lift, push, pull, and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.
Move up and down stairs.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Previous experience with final mile deliveries.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).
Final Mile Experience.
