Summary
The Analyst - Air Logistics position will be responsible for managing the overall Air Import & Export daily operations. This person will have and maintain high level interface directly with customers on a regular basis, develop logistics solutions that can reduce costs, improve service levels, and have the ability to build strong relationships to drive the business.
Responsibilities
General 3PL operations (Inbound, Outbound, In-land, and Warehouse/Distribution)
Oversee the transportation of freight and ensure complete customer satisfaction by facilitating timely and accurate communication
Provide guidance and direction to freight forwarding operation team on operational decisions based on immediate requirements and urgent transportation
Liaise with customers, suppliers, inland transportation carriers to ensure that a premium level of customer service is always present
Accurately manage and maintain departmental operational tasks such as accounting, reporting, and records keeping in accordance with internal policies, and state and federal regulations
Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
Ensure that all issues related to service failures are followed up on and corrective action implemented
Implement and continuously enhance Air Freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export)
Prepare FF month end, support Finance/Accounting department for invoice, inquiries, aging, and reconciliation
Manage and monitor freight forwarding accounts receivable and accounts payable
Customer services and client management
New accounts operation set‑up support and competitive analysis
Accomplish top management mission by completing related results as needed
Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range
$48,000 - $523,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Experience with CRM system Preferred
Education & Experience
HS Diploma/GED Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
1 - 2 Years of direct experience in Logistics and/or Accounting Required
2 - 5 Years of direct experience in Logistics, and/or Accounting Preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing, and usage of scanner and tablets
Possible exposure to change in temperature in an indoor/outdoor building
Possibility of domestic travel - 5%
Stand/walk
Carry/lift up to 15 pounds
