
Legal Administrative Assistant

LHH is working with a well-established Tampa-based law firm to recruit a seasoned Legal Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for a detail-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic legal setting and enjoys providing high-level support to attorneys and paralegals within real estate and related practice areas.
Role Summary
In this role, the Legal Administrative Assistant will play a key part in supporting daily legal operations by delivering efficient administrative and document-focused assistance. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at juggling competing priorities while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
Key Duties
Draft, revise, proof, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Support attorneys and paralegals with legal research and case-related tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with filing procedures and court rules across multiple jurisdictions
Maintain accurate and well-organized client files and case records
Provide administrative support including calendar management, phone coverage, and correspondence handling
Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, court staff, and internal personnel
Safeguard sensitive and confidential information
Effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant with a focus on real estate matters
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
Proficiency in legal document production and standard office software
