Commercial Assistant
As a Commercial Assistant, you will support the Account Management Team with administrative and commercial tasks. You will be a crucial link between customers, Account Managers, and internal departments such as Procurement, Logistics, QA, and Customer Service. You will ensure that commercial opportunities are correctly followed up and that customers experience professional and smooth service. Your responsibilities include preparing commercial quotes in SAP in consultation with the Account Manager, following up on quotes and tenders, registering feedback in C4C/Salesforce, keeping customer data up-to-date in C4C/Salesforce, detecting risks and opportunities via the CGE platform, general order follow-up: checking orders in SAP and coordinating with PM, CSR, Procurement, and Logistics, informing customers and Account Managers about delivery issues and actively thinking about solutions, supporting steel requests, following up on customer complaints, assisting with invoicing issues, requesting and following up on forecasts from customers, updating prices in SAP in consultation with the Account Manager, preparing and sending bi-monthly price lists, handling and following up on administrative customer inquiries (documentation, quality requests in alignment with PM and QA), supporting sales and marketing campaigns: screening potential customers, first contact person, registering feedback and feedback to the Account Manager, acting as a professional backup for the Account Manager when they are externally active. Within the team, one of the two Commercial Assistants will take on an important supporting role in ensuring the smooth running of the Ajinomoto dossier. Your profile You have a hands-on mentality and work proactively. You can think ahead and anticipate potential delivery or commercial issues. You have strong administrative and organizational skills. You have a problem-solving mindset. You are open to learning from the Account Management Team. You are willing to delve into the pharmaceutical sector and its specific requirements. You think and work in the long term (customer farming). You speak fluent Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
