Accounting Specialist (AP Focus)

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounting Specialist
to support high-volume accounts payable and core accounting operations for a client in the Hospitality industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced
multi-entity environment , is highly organized, and knowing your work directly impacts vendor relationships, cash flow, and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Handle
high-volume invoice processing
with accuracy and speed (500+/week) across multiple locations
Own coding, approvals, and timely entry in the Ramp AP system
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Act as the primary point of contact for vendors
Take ownership of onboarding (W-9s, payment setup, validation)
Clean up and maintain vendor data
1099 Administration
Track and manage 1099-eligible payments throughout the year
Prepare and file 1099-MISC / 1099-NEC accurately and on time
Work directly with vendors to resolve gaps before they become problems
Track and manage utility accounts across multiple locations
Book month end accruals relating to these expenses; flagging anomalies early
Manage ongoing administration of the company’s in-house financing program
Support internal financing program, tracking payments, resolving issues, and responding to customer inquiries
Job Requirements
2–3 years of AP experience in a high-volume environment
Proven ability to stay organized when things get busy
Strong attention to detail, but also the judgment to prioritize what actually matters
Ability to reconcile financial data across multiple systems
