Mobile Crisis Social Worker for Children and Youth
Responsibilities
Referrals will focus on children, adolescents and young adults up to age 20 who are unwilling or unable to be connected to outpatient treatment, or who need in-home services until they are connected
Carry a caseload between 10-15 clients on a monthly basis
In-home mental health crisis assessments
Staff will respond to referrals within two hours of referral, one hour to NYC schools
De-escalation of crisis situations
Transport to hospital when needed
Coordination of care / linkage to longer-term services
Work one weekend a month
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate would have experience doing crisis/ER work, clinical background, be a team player, and be comfortable managing stressful situations and using more directive family interventions when necessary
Creative and motivated therapists that are committed to clinical excellence and are passionate about working with children and families
LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, MSW w/ Limited Permit
Therapists with a desire to learn, grow and share experiences with our diverse teams
Some experience working with children/families
Responsive and effective communicator
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
Able to work some morning and evening hours

Provided supervisory hours for clinical license LCSW

Starting Salary
MSW w/ Limited Permit: $48,500/year
LMSW, LMHC, LCAT: $57,750/year
LCSW: $63,000/year
