Overview

This reputable general contractor is local to the Miami-Dade area and has a strong reputation with clients. They are working throughout the high end commercial & multifamily markets. They are working on a new construction, luxury high rise project in the Miami area, seeking a talented and experienced general superintendent to join the team.
Responsibilities

Provide overall on‑site leadership for all construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Manage and coordinate multiple trade partners on a complex, high‑rise schedule
Drive the master schedule and 3‑week look‑ahead plans; proactively resolve conflicts and delays
Enforce the highest standards of quality control, site safety, and cleanliness consistent with luxury construction
Serve as the primary on‑site representative for ownership, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors
Mentor and direct Assistant Superintendents and field staff
Ensure compliance with all local codes, OSHA regulations, and project specifications
Lead daily site meetings, safety briefings, and subcontractor coordination meetings
Profile

10+ years of experience as a Lead or General Superintendent on large‑scale construction projects
Extensive high‑rise, vertical new construction experience required (luxury residential strongly preferred)
Must have new construction, luxury high rise experience
Demonstrated success leading projects from ground‑up through turnover
Strong knowledge of structural concrete, building envelope, MEP coordination, interiors, and finishes
Ability to manage aggressive schedules and complex logistics in an urban environment
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
Proficient with construction technology and scheduling tools (Procore or similar preferred)
OSHA 30 certification required
