Hours & Location
Schedule: Monday – Friday every week, alternating Saturdays.
Shift: 4:45 am – 2:45 pm
Repair/maintenance shop at our Medley, FL hauling site
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts.
Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Perform safety checks on vehicles to ensure the safety of employees and the public.
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
Assist senior mechanics in completing project work.
Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Over 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screening and physical.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Exert frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
Exposed to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc., often.
Exposed to physical environment with dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements, often.
Work both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
