Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in California
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience managing labor and delivery cases
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle emergent situations effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with NICU level III patients
• Familiarity with pseudo laborist coverage models
• Knowledge of local hospital protocols and procedures
• Experience working with Family Medicine residency programs or similar educational rotations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Minimum of 3 years of OB hospitalist experience
• Prior work in a Level III NICU setting is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or near 12/31/2025
• Commitment to a flexible schedule, including potential night or weekend shifts
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
• Willingness to travel for assignment-specific requirements
• Compliance with all relevant licensure, certification, and hospital policies
