Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Houston, TX

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and labor and delivery management
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics or complicated deliveries
• Previous work in a hospitalist setting
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient care and communication

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prior locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Must hold current medical licensure and certifications as required
• Willingness to travel as needed for assignments
• Compliance with all applicable hospital and state regulations
