Job Summary
The Controller will oversee the accounting and HR functions, reporting to the CEO.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee full cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Manage and train the accounting department.

Manage cash flow, ensuring organizational needs are met.

Oversee purchasing and payroll activities.

Work with the CEO to ensure contracts and pricing meet company standards.

Draft and manage operational and project budgets and forecasts.

Prepare financial reporting including balance sheet and operating costs.

Maintain accounting and documentation systems (QuickBooks).

Lead audit and finance committee.

Monitor banking information.

Maintain inventory and fixed asset accounting.

Manage vendor pricing and contracts.

Maintain insurance and health‑care coverage plans.

Analyze compensation.

Oversee payroll.

Oversee recruiting.

Manage employee relations.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience leading accounting and HR functions within one organization.

Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and Online.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Contract review experience.

Payroll management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP integrations or implementations.

Job costing experience.

Experience in pricing negotiations.
