Job Summary: Provide essential cardiopulmonary diagnostic services to patients, ensuring timely and accurate reports are delivered to physicians. This role supports patient care by performing non-invasive procedures under physician orders, contributing to the overall mission and policies of the department.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist with emergency department triage as needed.
• Perform ECG, rhythm strip, and heart monitoring after completing required training and competency evaluations.
• Collect brief cardiopulmonary histories by asking relevant questions prior to testing.
• Maintain accurate departmental statistics and individual productivity records.
• Process patient billing according to procedures performed.
• Participate as a member of the cardiac rapid response team.
• Apply sound judgment and specialized medical skills to care for patients considering their age, diagnosis, and physical capabilities.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• May require cross-training in secretarial duties.
