Job Description and Duties
State Fund’s Staffing team is seeking a motivated, forward‑thinking professional to lead staffing efforts and shape how we attract and hire top talent. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across the organization, influence hiring strategies, and contribute to a high‑performing, service‑driven team. We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in staffing, but also ready to guide others, share knowledge, and help elevate team performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce goals
Analyze hiring trends and recommend effective, data‑informed solutions
Help foster a positive, service‑focused experience for candidates and hiring managers
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
Present information and insights to a variety of audiences
Special Requirements
Effective July 1 , 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range included on this posting does not reflect the reduction in pay.
