We are partnering with a leading global law firm

Lateral Recruiter

to join its Talent Acquisition team in Washington, DC. This individual will manage full-cycle recruitment for lateral hires and support clerk hiring, partnering closely with firm leadership to attract top legal talent.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for lateral attorney hires across practice groups

Partner with hiring partners and senior stakeholders to define hiring needs and search strategies

Proactively source and engage high-caliber candidates through direct outreach and networking

Manage the interview process end-to-end, ensuring a seamless candidate experience

Support clerk hiring efforts, including coordination and process management (prior experience not required)

Advise stakeholders on market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence

Collaborate on offer development, negotiations, and closing strategies

Maintain accurate data and reporting within the ATS

Qualifications

4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment

Experience supporting lateral hiring and working with senior stakeholders

Strong sourcing and relationship-building skills

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills
