About the Property
This role is based within a flagship luxury hotel in Philadelphia, featuring a Forbes Five-Star environment and a highly acclaimed dining program led in partnership with a globally renowned, Michelin-starred chef. The property offers a sophisticated, design-forward setting with a focus on elevated culinary experiences and exceptional service standards.
The Role
The Executive Restaurant Chef is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations for a high-end, chef-driven restaurant concept. This individual will lead a large culinary team, ensuring excellence in food quality, consistency, and presentation while maintaining alignment with brand standards and culinary vision.
This role partners closely with an internationally recognized chef group and reports into senior property leadership. The position plays a critical role in driving menu development, operational performance, and the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all day-to-day kitchen operations with a focus on execution, consistency, and efficiency
- Maintain and elevate culinary standards across all service periods
- Manage labor, food cost, and operational performance to meet financial targets
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing culinary team
- Collaborate on menu development in alignment with brand and culinary direction
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Partner closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and team performance
- Participate in business reviews, providing insight into financial and operational performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of culinary xywuqvp experience, including leadership within a comparable environment
- Background in fine dining; Michelin-level experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in high-volume, high-standard environments
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and labor management
- Passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and high-quality ingredients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment
