
Field IT Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network & Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot networking, cabling, and security systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands‑on field experience, and a commitment to meeting customer needs and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network systems, including switching and connectivity.
Install and service CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
Perform structured cabling work, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic termination and testing.
Diagnose and repair communication systems using appropriate testing tools.
Replace defective components and install new equipment as needed.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Complete and submit service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Safely operate power tools, lifts, and specialized equipment.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent certifications.
2+ years of experience in the technology field.
Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting.
Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Work Requirements
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer‑focused mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (cable pulling, working in attics, using lifts).
Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, or weekends as needed.
Willingness to travel frequently, including short notice.
Additional Requirements
Must pass a background check and drug test.
CompTIA A+ and networking certifications are preferred or required.
Compensation & Benefits
