RN - Emergency Department Per Diem Days

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working part-time during day shifts. This role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies, with opportunities to assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and identify their care needs effectively.
  • Organize and implement appropriate patient care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
  • Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
  • Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
  • Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs.
  • Respect and support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines.
Education

Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and observe patient conditions accurately.
