Job Description
We are looking to add an

Accounts Receivable Accountant

to join our

Finance

team in

Essential Responsibilities

Accurately process basic cash receipts using prescribed workflows and systems with assistance from leader

Perform basic day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording cash receipts data

Research and resolve simple issues/discrepancies associated with cash receipts in a timely manner and appropriately communicate with internal and/or external parties when necessary

Assist with premium financing for clients with external premium finance companies

Assist with daily reconciliation of cash receipts and deposits

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Accounting degree preferred

Experience: 0-2 years accounting experience preferred, insurance agency experience is a plus.

Technical Competencies: Invests in developing and applying financial knowledge and principles to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes. Utilizes analytical skills to identify opportunities or root causes, evaluate information, and execute effective solutions. Actively contributes to established workflows, processes, and deliverables, using systems and resources to provide a world-class client experience while meeting compliance requirements.
