Pyramid Tax, Accounting & Consulting is looking for a tax preparer with recent experience and knowledge of current tax changes including preparation of individual, corporation and partnership returns. Accounting experience is a must with a knowledge of QuickBooks or adaptability to new software.

What You’ll Do
Managing bookkeeping and keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date
Preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
Running month-end closes and reconciling accounts
Processing payroll and handling related filings (quarterly and annual)
Analyzing financial data and providing insights to help clients grow
Helping clients get the most out of QuickBooks Online
Onboarding new clients and juggling multiple client engagements
What You Bring
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
3+ years of hands-on accounting experience; public accounting a strong plus
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite
QuickBooks Advisor Certification (bonus points)
Deep understanding of accounting principles and tax regs
Strong communication and consulting skills — you know how to talk with clients, not just at them
A valid driver’s license
