
Regional Controller

Job Description
The Controller will be responsible for monthly reporting, year‑end close, accounts receivable and payable, treasury functions, and coordinating with a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner. Additionally, the role supports tax and accounting audits and collaborates with local and international teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Own standard accounting procedures including:
Preparing journal entries
Generating general ledger account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
Recording, researching, and reconciling intercompany transactions
Performing variance analysis to ensure financial statement accuracy
Supporting the preparation of month‑end and year‑end reporting packages
Performing additional duties as needed to support the close
Coordinate with the BPO partner to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable
Support tax and accounting audits
Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across regions
Collaborate closely with the international Treasury department to manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management
Support internal controls and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)
Five or more years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (required)
CPA certification or CPA candidacy (preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience working with BPO partners (preferred)
Experience coordinating with international teams (preferred)
Proficient with accounting software (SAP highly preferred) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
Must be able to work onsite in Burnsville, MN (hybrid work environment; minimum three days per week onsite)
Must be able to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working at a computer, with opportunities to move or change position
Requires visual acuity to use a computer monitor and read documents, and ability to communicate clearly in person and digitally
Must maintain focus and productivity in a typical office environment with standard noise levels and ergonomic equipment
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $120,000–$140,000, with pay determined based on experience, job knowledge, complexity, location, and other factors.
