Reporting to the Contracts Manager, this role is responsible for the distributor contract transaction process for the United States (buy/sells, simple brand additions, and territory appointments, etc.) and will interact with the Senior Commercial Leadership Team. This position will prepare all correspondence to distributors and individual states, notify team members and update internal systems. This role will also handle simple templated agreements including sponsorship and nondisclosure agreements. This person should possess the ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision, and have the skills to deliver professional, neat and error‑free work product with exceptional attention to detail and adherence to schedules. They should be capable of handling heavy workload, work within tight timelines and must exhibit an ability to work under pressure.
Distributor transactions (buy/sells, terminations, appointments, etc.) – 40% of time
Coordinate internal approvals of distributor transactions.
Process transactions including drafting of letters, completing US Distributor Agreements and/or Amendments.
Track all correspondence sent to and received from distributors.
Coordinate the signing of documents as needed.
Research territory discrepancies or questions concerning distributor territories.
Communicate transaction information to appropriate employees.
Maintain all distributor documents physically and digitally.
Maintain and update related company systems.
Participate in US product launches – 25% of time
Work with Commercial Team on simple product launches to gain approvals for brand(s) added to distributor agreements.
Prepare and send amendments to distributors, updating agreements with new brands added or discontinued brands removed.
Track amendments.
Follow up with distributors on amendments not received.
File brand amendments physically and digitally.
Maintain and update related company systems.
Communicate status of brand amendments to appropriate employees.
Process submitted templated agreements (sponsorship, nondisclosure, etc.) – 25% of time
Log submitted agreements into the tracking sheet.
Verify that no changes were made from the template.
Work with Contracts Team if changes are needed.
Special Projects – 10% of time
Conduct research, gather and compile data, and translate Distributor Administration and compliance information in a concise and understandable manner.
Other projects and responsibilities as directed by Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1 year of relevant experience.
Must be expert in Word, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the alcohol beverage industry preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities
Self‑starter, well‑organized, and able to multi‑task and prioritize.
Team player, able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to express complex concepts, business situations and opinions in clear and practical terms.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all levels of company management.

Compensation
Competitive annual salary $57,000 - $71,000 in Chicago, IL.
