Senior Accountant

Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Lead month-end and year-end closing, including financial reporting
Oversight of general accounting and finance functions
Update, prepare and circulate Daily Cash Report
Additional ad-hoc accounting project, duties and reporting
Assist the team with court submissions
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with implementation of and improvement of accounting systems, processes and internal controls
Analyze financial data, identify trends or variances, and provide insights to management
A strong understanding of full accounting life cycle
Process ownership and strong attention to detail
Expert level organizational skills
Ability to translate accounting detail into business insights
Agility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently, while also being a team player
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Advanced Degree a plus
10+ years’ experience in accounting or finance function
Prior experience in a lead or senior accounting role
Professional services experience required, law firm accounting experience ideal
Proven track record of data entry proficiency
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Accounting systems including ProLaw, Elite, 3E a plus
Familiarity with Expense Reimbursement systems, including Concur
