The Pastry Chef plays a critical role in delivering refined culinary experiences that reflect Vinarosa Resort’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences, trust-based relationships, collaborative teamwork, detail-driven hospitality, and results-oriented performance that enhances long-term asset value. This position supports consistent food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards while collaborating closely with Food & Beverage and front-of-house teams. Through disciplined execution, attention to detail, and respect for culinary standards, this role directly contributes to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the resort’s overall dining reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide focused assistance in the daily prep and creation with the primary role of supporting the head chef in the production of pastry and desserts.
Work closely with the head chef and Food & Beverage to ensure all creations are consistent with the resort standards.
Maintain appropriate sanitation and food safe practices for all items.
Help create menus and plan the daily prep for each pastry component.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven culinary experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Fast‑paced kitchen experience and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical & Scheduling Requirements
Requires prolonged standing, exposure to heat, sharp tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Professional kitchen environment with fast-paced production and service demands.
