About This Role
Join our AWS team as a Data Center Technician. You’ll be a critical guardian of global cloud infrastructure, maintaining the heartbeat of a leading technology platform by ensuring seamless data center operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix, and troubleshoot network issues, escalating incidents as needed.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, developers, vendors, and contractors.
Execute on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
Help train and onboard new team members.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
Work in cramped and/or elevated locations; bend, lift, stretch, reach.
Stand and walk up to 8+ hours a day.
Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, gangways safely without limitation.
Work in a noisy environment.
Work longer shifts to support 24/7 operations, covering night, day, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Essential Requirements
Ability to travel or commute between data center locations as needed.
Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training or until assigned facility is operational.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and/or weekends.
1+ year of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a data center environment.
Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional or military experience in a relevant field.
Understanding of network design, protocols, and layer 1/2 troubleshooting.

USA, AZ, Avondale – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, AZ, Mesa – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, MS, Canton – $25.00 – $44.00 USD hourly
USA, NV, Sparks – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, OR, Boardman – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, OR, Hermiston – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, OR, Umatilla – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
USA, PA, Berwick – $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly
