Operations Assistant – Construction Supply Yard
KLP Construction Supply is hiring an Operations Assistant to support daily yard operations and material handling. This is a hands on role in a fast paced construction supply environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
Prepare, stage, and secure materials for pickups and deliveries.
Make deliveries using company trucks and trailers.
Track inventory and record material movement.
Draft and organize various forms and paperwork.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard.
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
Qualifications
Experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction supply environment preferred.
Computer literacy / familiarity with Microsoft suite of programs.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors.
Reliable, safety minded, and organized.
Primarily outdoor yard work with regular physical activity.
Standard business hours with occasional schedule flexibility.
