Physical Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, starting at $37.86, commensurate with experience, along with additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional ability. You will work with a diverse patient population in outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing units, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Schedule & Shift Details:
- Full-time schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Weekends: Typically every 4-5 weekends on rotation.
- Holiday shifts: Not required.
- Call Policy: Must be available for call 2 hours before shift begins.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Valid Kansas Physical Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Proven clinical experience preferred but not mandatory.
